Air Collection Project

The air of places
you've never been.
Bottled. Delivered. Real.

AIRISM collects the atmosphere of specific places and moments — a lavender field at dawn, a rainforest after a storm — and delivers it to you, sealed in a bottle.

01

The scent of a place
you can't go back to.

A smell can bring back a memory faster than any photograph. The morning air of a childhood home. Rain on a summer road. Sea wind through an open window. AIRISM captures that invisible presence — the atmosphere of a place — and gives you a way to hold it.

02

Air from places
you've never been.

Travel is not only about the places you've been. There are places you've imagined — cities you've read about, jungles you've seen in films. No photo or video can deliver the air of a place. AIRISM does. We go there, collect it, and bring it to your door.

What is AIRISM?

AIRISM is a concept project exploring the collection and delivery of bottled air from specific places and moments around the world. We are currently in the demand-validation phase — testing whether people feel a real connection to air as a physical object. If you've ever wanted to breathe the air of a place you love or have never been, we'd love to hear from you.

Air we want to collect.

Each bottle captures a specific place at a specific moment — not just where, but when. Morning light, post-storm humidity, harvest season. The atmosphere is the point.

Lavender fields at Farm Tomita, Furano, Hokkaido

Furano, Hokkaido, Japan · July 13 · 5:50 AM

Farm Tomita — Lavender Fields

Before the gates open. Morning dew on the lavender rows. A scent that rises from the ground. Some people will recognise it immediately — even if they've never been here.

Marrakech spice market alley, Morocco

Marrakech, Morocco · March 7 · 10:30 AM

Souk El Attarine — Spice Alley

Cumin, saffron, cinnamon, layered in a narrow lane. Before the camera, before anything — your nose responds. There is no other air like this.

Amazon rainforest after heavy rain, Brazil

Amazon Basin, Brazil · December 5 · 2:15 PM

Deep Jungle — After a Storm

Wet leaf litter, tree sap, and rising steam. The air after a tropical downpour is unlike anything else on earth. The smell of life itself.

Coffee plantation near Moshi, Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Kilimanjaro Foothills, Tanzania · June 20 · 7:15 AM

Moshi — Coffee Farm at Harvest

Not the smell of coffee you know. The ripe cherry on the branch smells like sweet fermentation, tropical fruit, morning wind. People who've been here are always surprised.

Shimanto River farm road at dawn, Kochi, Japan

Shimanto River, Kochi, Japan · August 14 · 5:45 AM

River Road — Early Morning Mist

River fog drifts across a quiet farm road. A faint trace of incense from a nearby household. For many Japanese people, this is the exact smell of summer at their grandparents' home.

Which air do you want?

We want you to shape what we collect first. Is there a place whose air you miss? Somewhere you've always wanted to breathe? Tell us — and we'll use your answers to plan our first collection.

Be the first to know.

AIRISM is in its early stages. When we launch our first collection — or start a crowdfunding campaign — we'll notify early-access members first. No spam. Unsubscribe anytime.

Questions

We are currently in the concept and demand-validation phase. We're exploring whether there is genuine interest before committing to production. Your input directly shapes what we do next.

We are developing a method to collect and hermetically seal ambient air on-site using custom containers. The technical process is still being refined.

The air itself may be nearly odourless — or it may carry distinctive scent. Either way, it is the actual air of that place and moment. The authenticity is the point.

Yes, international shipping is part of the plan. We'll confirm available regions when we launch. Sign up to the early access list to be notified first.

Possibly, depending on demand. Early-access members will be the first to know if and when we launch a campaign.
